Londo Eye

The name London Eye (or Eye of London) refers to a very peculiar monument is located in the city of London. It is basically a building that serves as a wheel (better known as Wheel of Fortune) and viewpoint.


This structure was completed in 1999 by British Airways, but was open to the public a year later under the name Millennium Wheel (Millennium Wheel), because it was erected to mark the new millennium. Note that for six years held the top spot as the world's largest viewpoint, but was later surpassed by the Star of Nanchang and the Singapore Flyer.
